“为人子，方少时；亲师友，习礼仪。”文明礼仪无处不在。它可以表现出一个人的道德修养，它可以增进人与人之间的友谊，它也可以凸显出一所高品质国际化学校的办学理念。而秉持“Come Here Go Further(来这里，走更远)”办学理念的徐州嘉治剑桥公学，正是本着培养身心健康、学业优秀、气质高雅，具有民族根基和世界眼光的精英人才的育人目标，坚持把文明礼仪作为学校德育课程的重要内容，礼仪教育生活化、课程化，努力塑造嘉治剑桥“最美学子”……

“When one is young, he should respect parents, teachers and friends through learning etiquette.” Civility is everywhere. It can show one's moral cultivation and enhance the friendship between people, and it can also highlight the idea of running a high-quality international school. JCA upholds the concept “Come here, go further” and aims to cultivate healthy students with exceptional academic performance, refined manners, an ingrained sense of Chinese culture, as well as an international perspective. 礼·站姿篇

Standing Posture

常言道：“站如松，坐如钟”，这是中国传统的有关于形象礼仪的标准。站姿是衡量一个人外表乃至精神的重要标准。从一个人的站姿，人们可以看出他的精神状态、品质和修养及健康状况，而站姿养成教育已成为嘉治剑桥公学气质高雅学子培养的日修课。

There is an old saying, "Stand like a pine tree and sit like a bell", which is a traditional Chinese standard of image and etiquette. Standing posture is an important standard to measure one's appearance and even one's spirit. From a person's standing posture, people can see his mental state, quality, and cultivation, as well as health status. Standing posture cultivation has become a lesson to develop the students’ elegant temperament.

礼·行走篇

在嘉治剑桥校园内，“轻声慢步，上下楼梯一律右行”已逐渐成为孩子们都积极遵守的文明法则。学生彬彬有礼，师生鞠躬问候，文明和谐的校园文化蔚然成风。

On the JCA campus, "Go up and down the stairs on the right quietly and slowly all the time" has gradually become the example of rules of civilization that children actively abide by. Students are polite, teachers and students bow to greet each other, and a civilized and harmonious campus culture has become a trend.

Classroom Etiquette

课堂礼仪，它关系着这个班的荣誉和凝聚力，体现着一个班级的班风班貌，也是学生气质养成的主阵地。铃声响起，学生端坐，恭候老师，师生答礼。听讲凝神，思维飞扬，举手站答，身体肃正，落落大方，声音清晰，嘉治剑桥课堂上的孩子们，俨然一个个小绅士、小淑女。

Classroom etiquette is related to honor and cohesion, reflecting the learning atmosphere and appearance of a class. The classroom is also a main place where students’ temperament is nurtured. When the bell rings, students sit up waiting for the teacher, then the teacher and students salute. In the classes of JCA, the students listen attentively, think actively, raise their hands, and stand up to answer questions. They are serious and dignified, with clear voices, just like little gentlemen and ladies.

Classroom Etiquette

亲爱的同学：欢迎你来到这美丽的餐厅！请你轻轻的挪开小椅子，慢慢地坐下来。下面，让我们一起进入餐前静思的时间吧！脚放平，身坐正。身体与腿成九十度，双手合十，置于胸前，慢慢的闭上眼睛，随音乐调整你的呼吸。想一下，是谁带给了我们幸福的每一天，整洁的用餐环境，美味的佳肴，感谢爸爸、妈妈，感谢老师，感谢种粮食的农民伯伯……伴随音乐，缓缓开始的嘉治剑桥的餐前静思礼，让每一次用餐都显得仪式感十足，让孩子们每天都能经历一次心灵沐浴。

Dear students, welcome to our beautiful canteen! Please pull your chair out gently and sit down slowly. Now, it’s pre-meal meditation time. Keep your feet flat and sit up straight. Your upper body should be at a 90 degree angle from your legs. Place your hands together in front of your chest. Close your eyes slowly. Adjust your breathing with the music. Think who has brought us every happy day, a clean dining environment, delicious food. Thank mom and dad. Thank teachers. Thank farmers who grow crops.…

The pre-meal meditation ceremony is accompanied by music. Every meal seems to be full of ritual, so that children can experience a baptism of the soul every day.
